Lentil, Ham, Bean soup

Perfect thing to do with the leftover ham bone (fair amount of ham left on it) from the freezer.

saute:
onions, celery, garlic

add:
ham bone
Trader Joes low sodium vegetable broth
water
bay leaves
savory spice blend
(rinsed) lentils
(rinsed) dry bean mix

simmer all day

han should pull of bone easily, cut bug pieces, remove bone.

Newly Organized Work Area

Here is my newly organized work area. The beading area is pretty much complete, with the exception of a few boxes of beads that still need to be sorted and put away.



As you can see, I have plenty of storage room left so I just need to keep organizing things and putting things away.



 
This is my new glass area.  The kiln didn't move, but the whole desk area specifically for glass working is new. And now all I have to do is unpac the glass and get organized.

Grilled Leftovers into a Salad

salad:
orzo
quinoia
wild rice
grilled steak
grilled asparagus
grilled zucchini
grilled mushrooms
pistachios
currants or yellow raisins
fresh green herbs

whisk dressing:
garlic mustard
lemon juice
balsamic vinegar
olive oil
